Just recently Busch Gardens Tampa filed a permit that will enclose their SandSerpent roller coaster! The building will be 64 feet tall and will cover over 5,000 square feet!

The building will enclose the entire wild mouse style roller coaster and the queue line for the ride! This is great news for the park since it currently doesn’t have any indoor rides, so this will be a great alternative to ride during a rainstorm.

It appears the building will be finished in 2018. So, I would imagine the ride re-opened in about a year from now. As of now, there is no timetable on when the ride will close down for construction.

The ride’s layout will not change though, we expect some theming inside of the building to make the ride more entertaining!

Great news for Busch Garden fans!
